Creating a shortcut/bookmark for Lalilo

To help your students access Lalilo easily, you can create a Lalilo shortcut or a bookmark on your tablet or computer. If you are using Lalilo in your classroom, you can also print out a QR code to help students access Lalilo without needing to type in a code (see Student login options).

Creating a Lalilo shortcut

You can create a Lalilo icon on the launch screen of your students' devices, just like any other app. To do so, follow these steps.

Chrome

Computers

1. Open Chrome.
2. Navigate to the page you want to add as an app (for example, https://student.lalilo.com/#/classes), and then enter your school code.
3. Select More (or the three vertical dots) in the upper-right corner.
4. Select More Tools.
5. Select Create Shortcut.
6. Enter a name for the shortcut and select Create.

Tablets

1. Launch the Chrome for Android App.
2. Navigate to the page you want to add as an app (for example, https://student.lalilo.com/#/classes), and then enter your school code.
3. Tap the three vertical dots on the far right.
4. Select Add to Home Screen.

Safari

Computers

1. Open Safari.
2. Navigate to the page you want to add as an app (for example, https://student.lalilo.com/#/classes), and then enter your school code.
3. Select the URL, and drag and drop it on your launch screen—an icon will appear.

iPads

1. Open Safari.
2. Navigate to the page you want to add as an app (for example, https://student.lalilo.com/#/classes), and then enter your school code.
3. Select the URL, and drag and drop it on your launch screen—an icon will appear.

Firefox

1. Open Firefox.
2. Navigate to the page you want to add as an app (for example, https://student.lalilo.com/#/classes), and then enter your school code.
3. Select the padlock next to the URL (on the left), and drag and drop it on your launch screen—an icon will appear.

Bookmarking Lalilo

You can bookmark Lalilo in the browser used by your students.

Chrome for tablets

1. Open Google Chrome.
2. Go to https://student.lalilo.com/#/ and enter the school code.
3. Select the three small dots to the right of the URL bar, then select Add to homepage.

Chrome for desktop (With the basic Android browser)

1. Open the web browser on your computer.
2. Go to https://student.lalilo.com/#/ and enter the school code.
3. Select the star in the upper-right corner of the address bar. A bookmark will be automatically created.

Safari

1. Open Safari.
2. Go to https://student.lalilo.com/#/ and enter the school code.
3. In the toolbar at the top of the screen, select Bookmarks.
4. In the drop-down list, select Add Bookmark.
5. In the menu that appears, name the bookmark and add it to a folder.
6. Select Add.

Firefox

1. Open Firefox.
2. Go to https://student.lalilo.com/#/ and enter the school code.
3. Press Ctrl + D.
4. In the menu that appears ("Edit This Bookmark"), choose the folder you want the bookmark in, then select Done.
