Scope and Sequence in the teacher app: The new Scope and Sequence page is now available for teachers in the app! This page is dedicated to showing our amazing lessons to teachers, among other things teachers will be able to see which lessons have read aloud exercises, student led instructions, and teacher led resources!
This is still a first version, many other things will be added later on like assigning lessons directly, integrations in other parts of the app, and even demo links for the contents of the lessons.
Teacher Led Lesson Plans: Kinder Phonics: 93 Teacher led lesson plans for kindergarten are now live in the teacher dashboard in the new Curriculum/Scope & Sequence page, and also in the Kinder phonics lessons guide. These lessons are teacher facing pdf documents covering consonants, short vowels, digraphs, sight/high frequency words, and word families for kindergarten.
In addition to scripted teacher led instruction, each document includes a lesson overview, suggestions for supporting for emergent bilingual students, formative feedback suggestions and materials needed to teach the lesson.

Kindergarten High-Frequency Sight Word Direct Instruction: Each high-frequency sight word lesson in the kindergarten scope & sequence now includes improved instruction using the Direct Instruction template. Students are taught and practice how to encode regular words with taught letter sounds. Irregularities are pointed out in words while still focusing attention on the predictable letter-sound combinations.
Skip Intro Instructions: From now on, students will only get the instructional content at the beginning of the lesson when we estimate that the probability that they succeed on the first practice exercise of the lesson is lower than a given threshold (success rate is higher than 80% in the US and 85% in France.

New Feature: Typed Answer Exercises: Lalilo was enhanced with typed answer exercises, allowing students to input responses using their keyboard rather than selecting from multiple choices. This addition was driven by efficacy research showing that typed responses produce more effective learning outcomes than selection-based exercises. Teachers can review students' typed responses in the Answer report.
